www.gitrace.org is a website that has been set up to help people trace their American GI fathers/families.
In addition to the information provided on the various pages of this website, there is a free on-line message-board where you will find numerous fellow searchers who have also subscribed to the service. They are all at varying stages of their own searches, some just starting out and others having completed their own search, wishing to remain online to help those who are still searching.
